The Endgame Perspectives Group (EPG) is a cross sector initiative that provides independent expert insight into the evolving landscape of defined benefit (DB) pension scheme endgames. We are a collective of professionals from across the pensions industry including insurers, trustees, legal advisers, consolidators, consultants and administrators.
The EPG was created in May 2024 in response to a pivotal shift in the DB pensions landscape. With many schemes now in surplus and The Pensions Regulator encouraging a focus on long-term planning, the industry faces complex decisions that no single organisation can solve alone. The EPG exists to provide a collaborative, impartial forum to address these challenges and support better decision-making.
